I'm done.
My blogging days are coming to an end here, at least for now. I won't say that I am done for good, but I can't see myself returning to it for a long while.
For those who have read this blog for a while, perhaps even the original blog I began over 3 years ago that eventually morphed into Rebirth, have probably noticed that my writing has been fewer and less, well...interesting.
I am no less passionate about women's health care and midwifery care. But in just my short career, I am burnt out. Crispy.
So it's time. Hope to catch you all around the interwebs. And who knows, I might show back up in the future if I find I can't keep my mouth shut.

I'll be sorry to not see updates from you. Your blogs were always a must read. Hopefully, for us readers, a break is all that you need.
This is a shame, both the end of the blog and the fact that you already feel burnt out. I hope that you find a way to strike some balance in your life!
All the best, from a reader in the Yukon.
Dear Rebirth, Good luck with this chapter. I hope it's just growing pains. It's not easy having more responsibility. I don't know what I want career wise. It's smart to let go of what doesn't fit anymore. I have enjoyed your thoughtful voice. I'm sure you use it wherever you go.
Be well!

So sad. As an ob rn planning on transitioning soon to cnm, I've loved reading about your journey. Good luck on fighting the burn out.
Sorry to see you go! Hope you'll get rejuvenated and come back soon. :-)

Bummer.
So sorry to hear about that - best wishes for the future, and I'll hope to see you back blogging sometime. Thanks for all your writing!
I'm so sorry that you're leaving! I only found your blog a short while ago, i'm 16 years old and a aspiring midwife. I'm already enrolled in college, starting to get my associates of nursing. Your blog made it so much more exciting for me...i hope it's only a break that you need...i'll miss you! And thank you so much for all of your blogging in which you have encouraged people sooo much.
